High Schools (through Grade 12) in South Side: Beech Grove, Perry & Franklin Townships
6 high schools (through grade 12) in South Side: Beech Grove, Perry & Franklin Townships; 6 are on the 2026-27 Choice list. Southport, Beech Grove and the Franklin Township subdivisions, the metro's thickest band of Christian and Lutheran schools.
Where this comes from. School facts are from the NCES Private School Survey (2023-24, or 2021-22 where a school did not respond) and, for schools missing from it, from state lists. Choice status is IDOE's 2026-27 participating list as downloaded October 28, 2026; SGO status is IDOE's partner list dated October 21, 2026; ESA status is IDOE's August 31, 2026 provider sheet. Indiana does not publish private tuition; confirm it with the school.
Funding note: The Choice award does not change by grade. A Carmel senior and a Carmel kindergartner carry the same district amount, which matters most at higher high-school tuition.
