How many Christian schools in the Indianapolis area take vouchers?

44 of the 55 Christian schools in our file are on the 2026-27 Choice list. Heritage Christian, Suburban Christian and Bethesda Christian enrolled some of the largest Choice student counts in the metro in 2025-26.

Do Lutheran schools in Indianapolis have their own scholarship fund?

Yes, the Lutheran SGO of Indiana partners with Lutheran schools across the state and awarded 3,928 scholarships worth $3,864,715 in 2024-25. Families still need to be within 400% of the lunch-program income line.

Is the voucher enough at a small church school?

Often. Where tuition and fees are below your district amount, the state pays tuition in full and nothing is left for the family to cover from the voucher's side.

How do I compare Christian schools by area?
