Apogee School for the Gifted (Indianapolis): Choice Voucher & Funding

Where this comes from. School facts are from the NCES Private School Survey (2023-24, or 2021-22 where a school did not respond) and, for schools missing from it, from state lists. Choice status is IDOE's 2026-27 participating list as downloaded October 28, 2026; SGO status is IDOE's partner list dated October 21, 2026; ESA status is IDOE's August 31, 2026 provider sheet. Indiana does not publish private tuition; confirm it with the school.

On IDOE's SGO partner list (Oct 21, 2026): income-based grants can stack on the voucher

Students reported to the federal survey (2023-24)

Apogee School for the Gifted is on the Indiana Department of Education's 2026-27 list of participating Choice schools, with instruction listed as in person. The 2025-26 annual report shows no period-one Choice count for it, which usually means the school is new to the program.

Your voucher amount comes from where you live, not from the school's address: for 2026-27 it runs from $6,395 for a Carmel Clay resident to $7,456 for an IPS-area resident, and Apogee School for the Gifted receives the lesser of that figure and its tuition and fees.

It is on IDOE's SGO partner list dated October 21, 2026, so a family within 400% of the free and reduced-price lunch line can apply for a tax-credit scholarship to stack on the voucher.

The NCES Private School Survey (2023-24) reports 32 students, 6 full-time-equivalent teachers.

Independent schools set their own aid. Where tuition runs well above the district voucher, ask how need-based aid is calculated after the Choice award is counted.
