Guidance Islamic School

Can I use Indiana funding at Guidance Islamic School?

Guidance Islamic School is on the Indiana Department of Education's 2026-27 list of participating Choice schools, with instruction listed as in person. IDOE's 2025-26 annual report counts 135 Choice students enrolled here in period one.

Your voucher amount comes from where you live, not from the school's address: for 2026-27 it runs from $6,395 for a Carmel Clay resident to $7,456 for an IPS-area resident, and Guidance Islamic School receives the lesser of that figure and its tuition and fees.

It is on IDOE's SGO partner list dated October 21, 2026, so a family within 400% of the free and reduced-price lunch line can apply for a tax-credit scholarship to stack on the voucher.

Indiana's programs make no distinction by faith: the voucher, SGO grants and the ESA apply here exactly as they would at a Catholic or Christian school. Its pre-K years sit outside the voucher; On My Way Pre-K and SGO grants (from age four) are the routes there.

What to ask Guidance Islamic School

1. Will you be on the Choice list for 2027-28 as well, and what tuition and fees will you report on my child's application?
2. After the voucher for my home district, what will I owe each year, and which fees fall outside it?
3. Which SGO do you partner with, and do you offer parish, member or sibling rates?
4. If we enroll mid-year, can you file a period-two application before January 15?
