My Virtual Academy of Indiana

Can I use Indiana funding at My Virtual Academy of Indiana?

My Virtual Academy of Indiana is on the Indiana Department of Education's 2026-27 list of participating Choice schools, with instruction listed as virtual. The 2025-26 annual report shows no period-one Choice count for it, which usually means the school is new to the program.

Your voucher amount comes from where you live, not from the school's address: for 2026-27 it runs from $6,395 for a Carmel Clay resident to $7,456 for an IPS-area resident, and My Virtual Academy of Indiana receives the lesser of that figure and its tuition and fees.

Independent schools set their own aid. Where tuition runs well above the district voucher, ask how need-based aid is calculated after the Choice award is counted.

What to ask My Virtual Academy of Indiana

1. Will you be on the Choice list for 2027-28 as well, and what tuition and fees will you report on my child's application?
2. After the voucher for my home district, what will I owe each year, and which fees fall outside it?
3. Which SGO do you partner with, and do you offer parish, member or sibling rates?
4. If we enroll mid-year, can you file a period-two application before January 15?
5. Which dual-credit or AP courses do you offer, and are exam fees included in tuition?
