Takesprout Christian School

Can I use Indiana funding at Takesprout Christian School?

Takesprout Christian School is on the Indiana Department of Education's 2026-27 list of participating Choice schools, with instruction listed as in person. The 2025-26 annual report shows no period-one Choice count for it, which usually means the school is new to the program.

Your voucher amount comes from where you live, not from the school's address: for 2026-27 it runs from $6,395 for a Carmel Clay resident to $7,456 for an IPS-area resident, and Takesprout Christian School receives the lesser of that figure and its tuition and fees.

Protestant schools in the metro often keep a church-member rate and work with the Lutheran SGO, the Institute for Quality Education or Sagamore Institute for families under the income line. Its pre-K years sit outside the voucher; On My Way Pre-K and SGO grants (from age four) are the routes there.

What to ask Takesprout Christian School

1. Will you be on the Choice list for 2027-28 as well, and what tuition and fees will you report on my child's application?
2. After the voucher for my home district, what will I owe each year, and which fees fall outside it?
3. Which SGO do you partner with, and do you offer parish, member or sibling rates?
4. If we enroll mid-year, can you file a period-two application before January 15?
